Abdominoplasty with VASER liposuction (suction-assisted lipectomy) for treatment of excess abdominal skin post pregnancy
Indication for Surgery
- Consultation History: The patient has a history of childbirth with concerns about excess abdominal skin, particularly in the upper abdomen. The abdominal skin hangs over the waist, especially when bending forward, causing discomfort.
- Age: 46 years old
Operation
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty) with VASER liposuction (suction-assisted lipectomy)
An abdominoplasty was performed, involving the removal of excess abdominal skin and adipose tissue.
Tissue weights removed:
Abdominal Flap:
- Right Side: 460g
- Left Side: 474g
Amount of fat (Adipose tissue) removed with liposuction (suction-assisted lipectomy):
- A total of approximately 200ml of fat (Adipose tissue) was removed during the procedure.
