Dr. Bernard Beldholm welcomes patients from a wide range of locations, including Northern NSW, Central Coast NSW, Central NSW, Sydney, interstate, and even overseas. If you’re considering travelling for your surgery, Dr. Beldholm and his team are here to help make the experience as smooth as possible. To get started, Dr. Beldholm offers an initial Zoom consultation, allowing you to discuss your options from the comfort of your home.
Book Online NowWhile the initial consultation can be done remotely, you will need to see Dr. Beldholm in person prior to surgery. For patients travelling from outside the area, we encourage you to take advantage of the beautiful Hunter Valley. The region offers a variety of accommodation options, making it an ideal place to stay while preparing for and recovering from surgery.
For most major surgeries, we generally recommend staying in the area for around one week. This allows Dr. Beldholm to personally care for you and ensure you’re healing well. Our comprehensive aftercare includes Heelight light therapy, dressing care by our experienced nurse, and frequent reviews by Dr. Beldholm to monitor your progress.
Once you’re ready to head home, Dr. Beldholm will liaise with your GP to ensure that your post-surgery care continues to be optimal. We also provide standard follow-up visits at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months post-surgery. For patients travelling from afar, some of these visits can be conducted via Zoom, ensuring your recovery goes smoothly no matter where you are.
