Indication for Surgery
- Background: Female patient with a long-standing history of enlarged breasts.
- Symptoms: Persistent back pain not responsive to conservative measures, bra strap grooving, recurrent inframammary rashes, and difficulty sourcing appropriately fitting clothing.
- Anthropometrics: Reports wearing a G-cup bra, with clinical assessment closer to a GG-cup size.
- Age: 50 years old
Operation
Breast reduction (Reduction mammoplasty) using Medial pedicle technique and wise pattern scars (inverted T scars), VASER liposuction included (Suction-assisted lipectomy)
Tissue removed:
- Right side: 718 grams
- Left side: 854 grams
Adipose tissue (fat removed):
- Right side: 650 cc
- Left Side: 550 cc
Total weight removed: 2772 grams (2.8kg)
