Breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty) for FF-cup sized breasts with right side larger than left, reduced to approximately C-cup size.
Indication for Surgery
- Background: Female patient, 56 years old.
- Symptoms: Significant discomfort from large breasts, including chronic back pain, bra strap grooving, recurrent rashes in the inframammary folds, and difficulty sourcing suitable clothing due to breast asymmetry.
- Anthropometrics: Reported bra size FF-cup, with clinical assessment confirming right breast larger than left.
Operation Performed
- Bilateral breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty).
- Medial pedicle breast technique with Wise pattern excision.
- Ultrasound-assisted suction lipectomy (VASER liposuction).
Tissue excised: Right 544 g, Left 418 g.
Adipose tissue removed with liposuction: Right 400 ml, Left 400 ml.
Total weight removed: 1762 g (1.8 kg).
